FAQs

Who is wheel Competitions, is this a scam?

This is not a scam - we are a registered UK company licensed to operate in the gaming sector. All our competitions operate according to the rules outlined in the 2005 Gambling Act. This is a regulated sector, and we operate within the guidelines designed to protect our customers.

Who is wheel Competitions, is this a scam?

Our commitment to you is to ensure you play responsibly. There are several features on the platform designed to help you do this.

If you find you're unable to cope with limiting your activity, you can find support at GamCare, they offer a National Gambling Helpline for individuals who are experiencing harm from gambling.

Are the competitions open to everyone?

Anyone can enter a competition provided they are over 18 and a resident of the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. Our employees or employees of any of our third-party suppliers cannot enter competitions, this includes immediate family members or households of these individuals.

How long are the competitions open for entries?

The details of each competition are provided on the website, these will include the closing date. This date is not affected if a competition does not sell out, however, if it is sold out early, we will bring the date of the forward.

When is the draw made for the competitions?

Each competition on our platform will give specific details for the day and time of the draw. These draws will take place at the specified times unless the competition is sold out early at which point the draw will be made.

Why is my order showing as cancelled?

This could be for one of two reasons, either you haven't completed the payment to enter the competition, or your payment has been unsuccessful. Entries need to be completed within a certain time or they are cancelled.

Where can I find my competition draw number?

Once you've made a successful payment for a competition, you'll receive an email containing your draw number. You can also log into your account and view your ticket numbers for every competition you've entered.

What happens if you don't sell all the tickets for a competition?

Even if all the tickets for a competition are not sold, the draw will still take place. It means your odds of winning have increased. All valid sold tickets will be part of the draw where a random number is generated to find the winner. If all the tickets have not been sold, numbers will continue to be generated until a winner is found.

If you've entered an instant win competition and the prize is not won within the timescale, the prize will not be awarded. In cases where the ticket is also part of the main competition i.e. with a closing date, your number will be included in this draw.

How is the draw for the winner made?

A random number generator is used to find the winner. For competitions that are not sold out, we continue to generate random numbers until a winner is found.

How does an instant win competition work?

These competitions have a pre-allocated number for the prize. If you buy a ticket and the number matches you win the prize instantly.

How do I know if I've won?

Winners are notified either by telephone or email using the contact details you've supplied to us within 7 days of a competition closing. If we've been unable to contact you for more than 14 days from when the competition closed, you'll lose the right to claim the prize and we'll find another winner.

What are my chances of winning?

That will depend on how many people have bought a ticket for the competition. The fewer entries the greater your chance of winning. You can increase your chances of winning by purchasing more tickets. Every competition is different, and we can't guarantee how many tickets will be sold.

Can you refund me my entry fee for the competition?

Once you have entered a competition, there are no refund options available.

Am I required to take part in promotional activity if I win?

This is not compulsory, but we do like to share the success of our winners. We would always ask your permission first and certainly don't want to put you in an uncomfortable position. Most of our winners are keen to share their news on our website and across social media.

The only organisation we are obliged to share your win with is the Advertising Standards Authority. There is an obligation to demonstrate we are administering every aspect of the competition fairly.
